At AuthorAdmin.com, we've done our best to create a Web site that anticipates and satisfies our customers' needs. With that goal in mind, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you do not find an answer to your question here, contact us at 1-877-340-8733 or info@authoradmin.com.
How does AuthorAdmin.com works? Well, first call an account representative or complete the application for new membership. Then, an initial consultation will be scheduled with an account representative. After the initial consultation, the author will receive a welcome kit in the mail along with instructions and other necessary forms. You will also receive access to these documents in our database. A link of the database will be emailed to you.
After you are processed in the system, it is as easy as filling out a To-Do List. Simply let us know what you want done for the week and we’ll take care of it. If you have a last minute request, no problem. We ask for at least a 24 hour notice. Anything that costs additional money (i.e. postage, registration for trade shows, etc) will be billed directly to the author/publisher. Everything else is included in the membership price including designing of marketing materials. Please view our services page for the complete list of services that are included in membership.
Does AuthorAdmin.com also distribute their authors’ books? We are not a distribution company. Thus, we do not distribute nor offer any type of fulfillment service. However, we will submit authors to distributors and provide authors with a list of distributors and their submission guidelines.
Why is there a set-up fee? The set-up fee is actually a processing fee. We want to ensure that each author is properly setup in our system. This fee also covers the initial consultation required to obtain all pertinent information about the author and his or her products.
How long is the initial consultation? There is no set time limit on the initial consultation. It will last however long it takes to gather all of the required information about the author and his or her products.
Do you offer refunds? We do not offer a refund on the set-up fee. It is considered earned after the initial consultation. The monthly fee will be refunded on a monthly pro-rated basis. However, if at anytime you are not satisfied with the service, please contact your account representative immediately. If you wish to cancel your membership, we will refund you the determined pro-rated amount.
